I decided to not comment on every single show like the last season, cause it's such a hard work and you probably fell asleep while reading my describing lines. So, I'll choose the most and truly eye-catching collections, because there are designers (unforunately) who don't have enough imagination to create something notable. Exaple below. I'm sorry, Adam Lippes, but we have seen something like this a million times.

Then I wonder, who will buy all these pieces shown on the runway for such high prices? Alright, they are made by high quality fabrics and created by hand, but I think you understand what I mean.

Here come the interesting collections so far:

Gary Graham and Suno - Teen world

Both designers' creations are cute and the mixed patterns look fab together. Look at the shoes - Graham's button-up ankle boots match perfectly with the long layered and loose-fitting shapes. Somehow I'm really into berry-shaded leather. Suno's sandals are not my style (those straight platforms freak me out), but the comfortable outfits are lovely. That blazer looks great with the large checkered scarf and the laser-cut dress is to die for.

Jason Wu and Z spoke by Zac Posen - Féminism

Wu's catwalk was ruled by classic styles as always. Nude and navy look wonderful together on that dress, I think I should get something in those shades for myself too... and it seems that bows 'n flowers are still alive. Posen's new line = perfect cuteness. It's like the infusion of Marc by Marc Jacobs and Sonia Rykiel. I need that yellow silk plaid dress. In my opinion yellow is the new pink!

Michael Angel and Juan Carlos Obando - Avant garde perfection

I've always loved curles and smooth motives set out by sequins and glitters - Angel did them well. I wish I could see some details... Obando's dress in the middle reminds me of Nicholas Kirkwood's shoes created for Rodarte. Remember them? Fab collection by the way.

Gareth Pugh for McQueen? WHAT?!

I like Gareth and everything, but I don't think so he is the perfect choice for the next creative director at McQueen's house. His creations are too dark and futuristic - sometimes boring. Just take a look at his latest collection, I see some McQueen-ish elements and shapes, but nothing more.My list of the possible designers to create at McQueen:
- John Galliano - his latest collection says it all.
- Lady GaGa - weird choice I know, but I'm sure lots of wonderful ideas would pop out her mind.
- Jean Paul Gaultier - only if he sometimes forgets the asian looks 'n fur caps...
- Peter Dundas - Pucci's creative director. He'd be able to draw fab patterns.
- Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren - Yes. Perfect. My favorites.
- Angela Missoni - You know, with keeping the patterns and throwing out the knits. Lol.

I hope the Gucci group will change mind about Gareth.

PS. Get ready for tomorrow - the new collection will be out.

One of my readers requested a post about Dsquared2's latest collection. I know I didn't write about it, because... well, I was really disappointed of the menswear show because Bill Kaulitz as the opener was just an unbelievably bad choice. Sorry, own opinion. But let's turn back to the womenswear part. I must say, this collection was incredible unlike the other. Scary silhouettes with red latex 'n lots of leather everywhere. How about the heels? Backbones! Awesome idea.

I don't really like Balenciaga somehow, because of the too bold colors together or the collection's outfits' random shapes, I don't know. There were 3-4 pieces from every outfit, the only difference was the color.

Little dark sibling of Balenciaga. On the 1st model that... vest looks like a blanket. The other looks are okay, very futuristic.

After checking lots of boring collections this was very eye-catching. I thought Chisato is a newcomer, but not, her first collection released in 2005, since then she's done nothing. Now she's back with well detailed and hilarious designs. I'm glad!

Our all-time favorite is back with new pieces we've never seen before at the house, like oversized coats (not surprising this season, you know what I mean) and... suit pants? Is Decarnin's motto 'bad girls go good' from now? Probably. I guess skinny jeans will go out of fashion soon - unfortunately. But shoulder pads 'n lace-up boots are still in. And shiny/glittering fabrics. Séquins.

I was surprised when the 1st model walked down the catwalk. At the first minute I thought it won't be a good collection, but later as the other girls appeared, I changed my mind. The oversized coats with double collar seemed totally stylish with tight-high boots, extravagant studded clutches and body-con dresses. And here comes the "BUT" again: I miss trench coats.
Okay-okay, the collection is still perfect without them.

Prada
Prada caused me a disappointment and it reminds me of The Pierces' song 'Boring'. The 'classic' outfits [with sixties hairdo's] are weird after the S/S collection's lovely and young silhouettes. The only one I like is that cute trench dress on the right.

I've been shopping today. I saw stylish clothes everywhere, especially in Zara. There were lots of Balmain inspired t-shirts, jeans and jackets, but I didn't buy from them, because I was searching for colorful pieces. Finally I decided to buy a cute red and blue heart print scarf and a green high waisted skirt. Then I entered Bershka and looked for those Alice in Wonderland t-shirts that I wrote about few weeks ago [click here to read the post]. Success! I could buy the Cheshire Cat tee!
And in H&M I found a fabulous blue suede jacket [LOVE], but unfortunately it wasn't my size... what a shame... I'll visit another store, maybe I'll get it.

I was searching informations about McQueen again... I just can't go on his... it's HORRIBLE to write down... death.
I came to telegraph.co.uk and find a quote tweeted by himself. I feel so bad for not log in to my Twitter page that time, because I followed him, and now his account is closed... so I can't see his other writings.

Oh, and near the quote I found this tweeted little message, too:

Oh, well... the powerful and vibrant colors have gone. It seems that oversized coats will become one of the main trends next season, I've seen them at lots of other designers aswell.
By the way I really like the gown on the left, but the girl who's wearing it... let's call her Jamie Bochert [I'm sure you've heard about her before]. She always seemed weird to me because she looks like a man... don't you think?

I'm back

I always enjoy skiing, especially at that place where I was - in Italy, Sappada. That was my second time around there, last year I've been there aswell. On the first days we had perfect and sunny weather, I came down the mountain 25 times. Unfortunately, on Thursday everything became wrong, because heavy snowfall came down from the sky, sometimes mixed with rain, so I couldn't ski anymore... we left the hotel on Friday and arrived at home yesterday evening.
I took some pictures, I'll show you them later.

Let's go back to fashion - I missed New York Fashion Week, so I'm on my way to check the collections that released so far. I'll choose the 3 best looks I prefer from every designer, also I'll feature 'True Pieces of Art' close-up pictures again.

Burberry's heart

The Nova Heart collection was published months ago, but I HAD TO feature it. I fell in love with the pattern and the colors.
My 2 favorites are the bag and the wellingtons (I planned to buy them but I got nowhere yet...)
Also I'd love to see a trench coat with this pattern on.

Winter is not over yet!

I say this because almost everyone wears the S/S trends and outfits by now, and forgets the previous season. But hey - it's still winter, so don't hesitate wearing the ""old"" fashionable things. Especially, because recently it gets colder and colder outside, today 40 centimeters (or more) of snow fell down at me.

Here is a stylish outfit I created few minutes ago. The cardigan is the main piece.

I would - but only at an Award ceremony what would be named after Lady GaGa, and there I'd be nominated for something, then win.

Well, back to the Galaxy Dress (that's what it called), it's by Cute Circuit, the company what has also invented the Hug Shirt and many more like that. The whole idea is just sick in a positive way, as I'd say. The fabric contains 24,000 full color LED’s all over it, 4 layers of silk chiffon, 40-layer pleated silk organza crinoline, AND 4,000 little Swarovski crystals.

"It is also touted to be the world’s largest wearable display allowing you to advertise almost anything on your body. The dazzling lights work together to make a fashion statement like never before. A masterpiece, the intricate circuitry that underlies this frock was painstakingly hand-embroidered on a layer of silk. What is more, to ensure that the sparkle of this dress never fades, the designers have added four layers of silk chiffon, along with 4,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals that extend the gown’s glittery sheen even after the LED bulbs go dim.

Unfortunately the creation is not too wearable because of its heaviness. But no probs, it's great as a museum object aswell.

The newest denim collection was announced on their website. From the clothings below I'll definitely buy some! They remind me of Balmain.

The jeans in the middle are the best!

Also there will be (or are? I haven't been to Bershka for a long time) some great Alice in Wonderland T-shirts in the stores. They are inspired by Tim Burton's new movie what will be released in March.

Yesterday on the streets of New York Queen B wore these super rocking Balmain boots.
I have to say, I don't like the leggings, a pair of skinny jeans would be better. But the other pieces are okay.

Gaultier - I love you. The collection is mind-blowing with its unique idea and detailing. Finally not a set with tons of tulle and ruffles...
The first looks were inspired by the western side of America - cowgirl outfits, denim, knee-high leather boots.
Then we travel lower to South America - dresses, headpieces, accessories are all influenced by the Inca culture and the Amazon river's wild jungle.

Well, I feel kinda crap... I think I won't go to school tomorrow. Also I'm bored and the TV is re-screening 62752326th time one episode of Ghost whisperer right now. Whatthehell.

So. The Elie Saab couture was published, let me show my favorites again.

Saab's creations are always well-detailed - sequins, chiffon, tulle, silk and pale shades are musts for every collection. That's why there are not big differences between them... but I like the dresses, anyway.

Chanel

Pale colors, shiny and metallic fabrics, tweed, chiffon, sequins. And the hair creations are true pieces of art with the heart shapes, bows, and flowers. Lagerfeld has done a great job as always.

The spirit of moon - magical and mysterious. Silver, pale blue and rose, big ruffles, metallic fabrics. I just love the creations, especially the deep blue gown.

John Galliano, the king of Haute Couture did it again. He never misses the classical dress shapes from the late 19th century and 1940s. Also, the red lipstick is a must for every collection.

What is it about?
Fashion, style and uniqueness. I've always wanted to create a blog, tell and show you my opinion about fashion shows, trends - and now here is the chance.
I will take photos of myself wearing trendy outfits, give advice how to wear different pieces of clothings and many many more, because I always have new ideas.
By the way, I could describe my style as romantic, glamorous, minimalistic, sometimes avant-garde and rock-ish, like Balmain, my favorite designer brand all time.
That's why I've chosen the title of the blog aswell - I adore sequins, their sparkle and decorativity on clothes. At least one sequined thing is a must in every stylish girl's wardrobe, don't you think?
